Lore

Arcane Magic

Arcane Magic is mainly drawn through one's body or the physical world. This means your source of power would come from pure talent, stolen knowledge, or body alteration.

Usually, Arcane Users are special and born with this attunement. It is possible to learn Arcane Magic, but it is difficult to obtain the necessary tools required to become an Arcane User.

Divine Magic

Divine Magic is mainly drawn through a higher being or the spiritual world. This means your source of power would come from gods/devils, nature, or faith/oaths.

Usually, Divine Users are special and born with this attunement. It is possible to become a Divine Magic User, but one must be extremely dedicated to their practices.

Use of Magic

Certain continents "handle" magic differently. Most notably, Barraca. Due to Barraca's history, magic is prohibited in many major cities. However, in most cases, magic throughout all the continents have a level of "fear" due to its strength and the Barracan War.

Obtaining Magic

A creature can be attuned to Arcane/Divine Magic in a few ways, the most common way being naturally gifted. It's believed that being able to wield this Magic is completely luck-based through birth; it's rather you have it or don't.

Arcane Magic: Magic Surficials

However, recently, with the innovations of the Hollow Sealers, many relics and artifacts gave insight to Arcane magic, and altered the unfair paradigm of being born with the ability to wield Arcane magic.

Thus, an item called Magic Surficials (Mag-S) were invented, providing the possibility for non-magic users to learn and wield magic. Eventually, one can use magic without a Mag-S, becoming a full-fledged caster.

Divine Magic: Worship and Dedication

Recent cases have found that one can gain Divinity powers through intense devotion and unwavering faith. In most cases, many do not wield this Divine Magic when they have access to it due to their beliefs.

Additionally, "certain" unorthodox practices could grant an individual this magic.
