Description
A sturdy metal chain, 10 feet long, used for securing or climbing.
Weight

Restrain
With an action, you can wrap a chain around an unwilling creature within 5 feet of yourself that has the Grappled, Incapacitated, or Restrained condition (DC 15 Strength (Athletics)). Wrapping the legs gives the Restrained condition.
Climber's Kit
Description
A set of tools including harnesses, pitons, and ropes for safely scaling surfaces.

Climbing
Includes: With an action, you can use these items to anchor yourself. You cannot fall more than 25 feet from the anchor point. You cannot move more than 25 feet from the anchor point. With a bonus action, you can undo the anchor.
Grappling Hook
Description
A hook attached to a rope, thrown to secure onto surfaces for climbing or pulling objects.

Maneuvering
As an action, you can throw the Grappling Hook at a railing, a ledge, or another catch within 50 feet. The hook catches on if you succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. If you tied a Rope to the hook, you can then climb it.
Ladder
Description
A portable retractable 10-foot structure with steps or rungs used for climbing.

Climbing
Can be used to climb over walls and other obstacles. Requires a flat and nonslippery surface, or a creature holding the ladder. Can be retracted for easier storage.
Lock
Description
A mechanical device used to secure doors, chests, or other objects, opened with a key.

Locking
Comes with the appropriate key. Can be picked by a creature with proficiency with Thieves' Tools (DC 15 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand)).
Manacles
Description
Metal restraints designed to lock around wrists or ankles, used for binding prisoners.

Restraining
With an action, use Manacles to bind an unwilling Small or Medium creature within 5 feet of yourself that has the Grappled, Incapacitated, or Restrained condition if you succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check. While bound, a creature has Disadvantage on attack rolls. If the Manacles are attached to a chain or hook that is fixed in place, the creature is Restrained. Escaping the Manacles requires:
Piton
Description
A metal spike driven into surfaces to secure ropes or aid in climbing.

Climbing
For hammering into hard surfaces. You can use a blunt object (i.e. Light Hammer) to hammer a stone or a similar material. When a wall doesn’t offer handholds and footholds, you can make your own. A piton is a steel spike with an eye through which you can loop a rope.
Pole
Description
A long, sturdy wooden rod, often used for probing or supporting.

Vaulting
You can use it to touch something up to 10 feet away. If you must make a Strength (Athletics) check as part of a High or Long Jump, you can use the Pole to vault, giving yourself Advantage on the check. Can be retracted for easier storage.
Rope
Description
A strong, twisted cord used for tying, climbing, or securing objects.

Restrain
Can be used to tie knots. With an action, you can wrap a rope around an unwilling creature within 5 feet of yourself that has the Grappled, Incapacitated, or Restrained condition (DC 10 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand)). Wrapping the legs gives the Restrained condition.
